Both sites of the PSFDH offer high quality, safe, and standards-based surgical care to patients closer to their home reflecting a patient and family centred care philosophy. Our focus on getting you back to your home and family on the same day as your surgery has resulted in PSFDH implementing surgical and anesthesia techniques that minimize your discomfort and maintains your mobility.

We work you and your family throughout the surgical care spectrum from your need for an operation, through pre-operative assessment, on your day of surgery, and after you return home.

Your surgical services team members liaise with Physiotherapy, Home Care, and regional partners to make sure that you are safe and well supported.
