Medical Radiation Technologist – Casual

As the successful candidate you will work on two sites, performing a variety of diagnostic x-ray procedures within a PACS environment. Imaging includes general x-ray support for out-patient, in-patient, ER and OR patients as well as some routine gastric procedures. Also performed are BMD and mammography by those staff with the appropriate qualifications. This position requires registration with the CMRTO, CAMRT membership and previous hospital experience is an asset.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – Casual

DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHER – Casual

As the successful candidate, you will work independently to perform abdominal, obs-gyne, small parts, MSK and vascular imaging within the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. You must be registered with CARDUP or ARDMS in at least Abdominal and Obs/Gyne Imaging. Competence in MSK and vascular imaging and hospital experience are considered assets.

We are currently seeking applicants to enable us to offer CT services in our community. Our CT program is expected to operate Monday to Friday, 8 – 10 hrs a day. Essential to your success will be good communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain professional working relationships. You will also bring with you strong organizational and time management skills, being able to manage multiple tasks and completing priorities within short time frames. You are competent in the use of clinical software as well as personal computers. The following position is available:

Medical Radiation Technologist – CT/General Imaging

As the successful candidate you will work with a primary focus in CT, but also support our general imaging operations to help us cover to enable CT training of others and maintenance of skills for leave requirements, etc. To be eligible for this position, you will be required to be registered with the CMRTO and have a year of full-scope CT experience. General imaging in a hospital environment is an asset as is a CAMRT CT Imaging certificate.

DIETETIC ASSISTANT – PERMANENT PART-TIME

We are a fully accredited Hospital that delivers a broad range of primary and secondary services and are currently seeking a:

DIETETIC ASSISTANT — PERMANENT PART-TIME

Reporting to the Manager of Nutrition and Food Services the Dietetic Assistant is responsible for checking patient menu choice in accordance with Nutritional Care Manual, computer information and Nutrition and Food Service Department guidelines; tabulating menu choices and preparing production sheets; preparing special nourishments & swallowing assessment trays; ensuring accurate patient tray assembly.

EMPLOYMENT/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 education
  • Completion of Normal and Therapeutic Nutrition courses at a Community College level.

ASSET:

  • Previous hospital food service experience.
